The Himalayas have shaped people's lives around the world. This vast mountain range stretches nearly 1,500 kilometers from west to east and crosses across 6 nations. Trekking in the Himalayas is a thrilling adventure taking you through one of the most mystical regions on Earth. The paths through this mountain range have been traveled for hundreds of years and trekking here will make it possible for you to encounter one amazing sight after another.

It is important to be prepared for your travels before going trekking in the Himalayas. The climate here can change moving in the morning to baking hot during the afternoon. Having equipment and clothes can make or break your trip. Below you will find the crucial items for a trip to the Himalayas.

Mount Everest Base Camp - Nepal Trekking into the initial base camp of Mount Everest is the most popular of trips in the Himalayas. People enjoy seeing where the planet's most adventurous climbers stay on their trip towards the very top of mountain. This trek follows the Imja Khola river into the base of Mount Everest and starts in the Sherpa capital city of Khumbu. Where the Sherpa culture can be experienced by you along the road, you'll pass through small mountain villages. The people here are believed by many to be among the very hospitable and friendly, especially to tourists. Meeting these people is a humbling experience and one that you won't forget. Not only Everest but Langtang valley trek is also popular trek in Nepal.

Ladakh India Known for its challenging mountainous terrain and its wildlife that is sorted, Ladakh is one of the places for trekking in the Himalayas. Buddhist monasteries are seeing them offer a special look in a lifestyle different from our own and plentiful in Ladakh. Since most of the region is over 10,000 feet in elevation, trekking here will require some acclimatization to the altitude. Views of the mountains that are snow-capped abound everywhere in Ladakh, clearly stating their dominance.

Eastern Himalayas - Bhutan Bhutan is world. Mystical looking monasteries perched high in the mountains are and seeing these beautiful works of art is really awe-inspiring. The varied terrain moves out of lush green forests in one place to mountains at the next. Everywhere you look buildings rest close to the border of drop offs and precarious waterfalls.

The Himalayan mountains are a paradise for adventurers as you can see. Whether you're seeking to experience the friendly and unique setting of this Sherpa or the terrain, the Himalayas provide among the most exciting vacations on Earth.
