Amarnath yatra package: 6 useful things you must carry to Amarnath

Travel & Tourism
Amarnath cave is situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It cannot be reached by any vehicle and its remote location does make accessibility a lot difficult. It is perhaps righteous that it is so inaccessible. That makes the trip all the more exciting and the darshan of Lord Shiva gets all the more worthwhile and satisfying.

To ease out your journey, you must buy an Amarnath yatra package in advance. That would exempt you of any worries regarding your accommodation, meals, traveling and sightseeing. Other than that, there are certain things which you should carry so as to avoid inconvenience.

Here is a quick list:

i. Warm clothes: Pack in as many warm clothes as your trunks would permit. Amarnath is not a region where you can expect sweaty heat. It is quite cold and even during the summer months it stays pretty frigid. Sweaters, coats and mufflers are strongly recommended. Try to pack in all kinds of woolens including socks and stockings so that you can cover every possible part of your body with fluffy clothes. Even during the night, the temperatures can dip alarmingly.

ii. Torch: Torch is something which is small and light, and can come handy even during the most unexpected moments of your journey. So, it would be naïve of you not to carry one. During the dark evenings, it can come of use if you find it difficult to trace your way after wandering off to unknown places. Amarnath is not the most sophisticated corners in the country. So, it would be good to bring your safety equipments with you. And a flashlight would be an ideal choice.

iii. Dry fruits: Even though Amarnath yatra tour packages would see to your meal arrangements in the inns and hotels, but you are likely to feel hungry during the tiresome trekking journey which would take you uphill to the cave. It is strongly recommended to stash your pockets with some dry fruits. These are small in size and high on energy. So, they make for ideal snacks which can be nibbled during the long queues.

iv. Trekking shoes: People usually forget to carry a trekking shoe and land up on the site shod in those fanciful ones. The hills are rocky and the trekking would be long and arduous one. Not having a proper trekking shoe can be very disadvantageous. So, make sure that you are carrying one good pair of such shoes.

v. Sleeping bag: If you have opted for a good Amarnath yatra package, then you could avail free tent services. But still, it would be good if you can carry your private sleeping bag.

vi. Rain gears: Rain lashes down these areas with an indecent ferocity and quite frequently during the monsoon season. Therefore, you should be ready with your umbrellas and rain coats in case the need arises.

Hungry Bags is the Asia’s trusted tour planner which offers a huge assemblage of amarnath yatra tour packages to select from. After going through your requirements, you can select an amarnath yatra package which fits into your scheme of things.
