One must visit this museum even if he/she is on a one-day trip; it’s that spectacular! One can get a reprieve from the humidity, and escape into a time space continuum of sorts where ten thematic galleries give one an insight into the traditional aspects of the pan-Asian culture, with rare artefacts from China, India, other parts of Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka and as far as Turkey. The Islamic religion is also explored quite distinctly. Every Sunday evening in Singapore is like a nostalgic trip for Indians, as the little India region becomes a bit more Bollywood oriented than usual.
