There is an abundance of flora and fauna here making it another great spot for spending time enjoying the outdoors. Alderney is also home to the only railway on the Channel Islands so make sure you take a trip on there. You can also take a tour of its famous lighthouse or get up close to the native wildlife from the shelter of one of its bird hides. And finally, you can visit France itself, either from Jersey or another of the Channel Islands.
