Global positioning system or GPS system as it is known is used to determine the exact location of vehicle, person or other asset which is attached and inspecting the position at regular time interval. The recorded location data might be store in tracking unit to get further assistance regarding tracking system.
After tracking location it can be sent to central data location data base or connected internal server computer by using satellite modem.GPS tracking system contains GPS module for receiving GPS signal and coordinates. It contains data loggers for saving data module and for further assistance as well.
GPS trackers are available in with many names. Some of them are as follows. • Data loggers- A GPS tracker which is in internal memory .It regularly checks the logs the position of the device at regular time interval. Modern GPS system either has memory card slot or internal memory slot. • Data pushers- It is the most common and useful tracking system of GPS trackers. It is used for asset tracking as well as for vehicle tracking system. It is also known as GPS beacon. It uses the tracking system as the speed or altitude and send to server to find out exact location. It sends the GPS data and location which automatically got to flash. • Personal tracking- In this kind of tracking you can get the information about a person like his location and the steps he takes. Like that it is used for law enforcement to keep an eye on criminal if he gets bail or something. It is also use for race control like some sport named gliding used to be carrying on tracker. It is useful for put up tracker on person to get know his habits at regular time interval named surveillance. Some web 2.0 specialists create their own website to locate the data information as well as location in regular time interval via GPS enabled tracker and personal tracking uses in it. • Asset tracking-we use asset tracking on solar power control system for the find out location and clean amount of battery power. We use it for animal control as we put up tracker on wild animals and get to know their mischief .by using it we might control them.
GPS tracking has one of the significant forms named data puller also known as data transponder. Data pullers push up the data and control the position of device at regular time interval. These devices are always on and make queries up as required.
