ComForcare Home Care in Greenville, NC expands its home care team to provide a higher level of patient care. Greenville, NC, May 2013 – ComForcare Greenville is pleased to announce that it is expanding its staff in order to accommodate the growing number of clients in its care. ComForcare Home Care is a locally owned and operated non-medical home care agency that serves the greater Greenville area. The company recently filled three new positions to help meet the increasing demand for home care services in the region. “We are so pleased to be able to expand our team with such incredible individuals,” shares ComForcare owner, Mrs. Preston von Arx. “This will allow us to provide services to a greater number of people in need in our community.” Laura Harris was hired in February as a part time Physician and Community Liaison. Harris is a social worker and has over twenty years’ experience in the hospice industry in Wilson counties. In March, also ComForcare hired April Mayo as a part time Client Care Coordinator. In addition to the two new hires, current staff member, Ruby Waters, has been promoted to part-time Client Care Coordinator. She recently worked as a part-time Personal Care Assistant with the company since 2009. Laura Harris has already been hard at work attending local health care and senior care events in the region. Along with fellow Community and Physician Liaison Kerri Vos, Harris attended the one-day Alzheimer’s Caregiver Conference at Barton College and the Leo Jenkins Cancer Awareness event at Greenville Mall. In addition to these events, both women also attended a health careers job fair day at Fike High School to help educate and promote health care careers in the local community. “We feel we have an obligation not only to provide the highest level of patient care for our home care clients, but to support the community as well by participating in important awareness and education events within the area,” shares Mrs. Preston von Arx.
