Personal Coaching is one of, if not my favorite, type of coaching. Why? Because it takes you beyond the armchair, beyond the "couch" and gets both the counselor and the client outside of their comfort zone AND the normal box! Personal Coaching got a major boost from a show called 'Starting Over', it showcased what personal coaching is, and the commitment it takes to make it through it. So, what exactly is personal coaching and is it good for everyone? That's what we're going to discuss. The definition of personal coach - it is one that teaches or helps an individual to move from where they are at to a higher level of ability. With this definition in consideration, would it not make sense that most everyone needs help in their life and needs a personal coach? We all have various areas that we must strive to improve. The challenge comes in the area that most of us don't want to admit that we're not perfect in areas of our lives and therefore don't want to seek out someone. It's seen as being weak and out of control. It's interesting that someone in a sport, such as an Olympic athlete, can not only get special coaches for training them (that's a personal coach), but get one that specializes in overcome "mind blocks" or "stress blocks" and they are looked up to, but for some reason we as individuals switch that are consider ourselves to be week if we do the same thing? Why is that? Why is it that we can see an athlete and applaud him or her for taking that step and becoming the champion in their field, but look at ourselves as weak? Why is it good enough for athletes and not you? That's the question and the point! You don't need to have a personal coach for the rest of your life. You only need to want to go to the next level in your life and become more than you currently are. That's one of the advantages that athletes have that the "everyday" person doesn't typically have. They get that to be really great, to be the best of the best that you have to be willing to get the proper coaching. In every day land, people think that they have a weakness or a personal flaw in order to get a personal coach. Consider this! What if getting a coach meant that you'd increase your income by 10 or 20,000 a year, just because you went to talk with someone that had unique and original ways of helping you move beyond you and to the next new you. Or the current fade phrase, "the new normal". Would it be worth it to you then? Probably so!!! So what are you waiting for? Move your life to the next level by getting a personal coach, so that you can be all that you can be. Here's a recommended Los Angeles Personal Coach: MichaelLatimer.com
