Some days back I read a news stating that passive smoking can make kids go deaf. After some days I came around another piece of news which claimed that a teenager exposed to second-hand smoke is twice as likely to suffer from hearing loss. According to scientists, passive smoking affects the blood supply to the area which makes it harder for the person to understand speech and has been linked to poor and disruptive behaviour in school. This also includes increased risk of asthma, heart disease and lung cancer. I am shocked. Where is our new generation going? Why are they doing so? Many questions arise in my mind. What is our new generation looking for? Heaven lies in childhood. A child is seer and a philosopher, certainly he has in him saintly qualities of innocence, love and joy. He is free from malice, hatred, and vice. Despite of having such natural qualities why are they spoiling their lives. It is very easy to blame the children for impatience, indiscipline, and irrevence for the elders, authority and social customs. They are also charged with laziness, recklessness, addition to smoking and other mal-practices. I admit all this, but friends I tell you all these things reflect one side and lack of proper understanding on the part of the elders and grown-ups. No doubt children of modern world have their own limitations, problems etc., but these can be removed or decreased to a great extent by sympathy, understanding and appreciation of the young generation. If they have any short coming and faults, the elder people are to blame because the former mirror the latter. Children are full of abundant energy, courage, spirit for adventure, imagination, hope and ambition. These can be very well used in the constructive and developmental activities of family as well as for country. Now it is up to the parents and all elders these qualities should not be allowed either to go waste or used for destructive purposes. They should be fully involved in creative work of nation-building and reconstruction. I advise you to trust your children. They will not let you down. They are generous, flexible, sensitive and dynamic. They can do wonders if properly guided and motivated. As I firmly believe that trust works with things that are not seen, and hope works with things that are not in hand. Do show a firm belief in astrology which can suggest you to choose a correct guide line for your children. If your child is involved in such mal-practices it can help your children to get rid of them. What is the problem in your child’s horoscope that he is getting attracted towards smoking or any other mal-practice? Maybe there is some problem which you do not understand. A little effort can do miracles. Wealth is the ability to fully experience life, while astrology is the gift of God to the humanity. It is not materialistic that you will be able to see it, hear it, smell it, taste it, or touch it; but is as real as anything that can be perceived with senses and most importantly by trust. It is as certain as the existence of water. Astrology is as sure as the taste of apple, the fragrance of rose, the sound of thunder or the sight of Sun. So come to my beautiful world of faith, and trust so that you can hope to see a better world around you. There is nothing certain and sure for cent per cent but astrology does sure the expectation of hope.
