It is hard to get noticed when you are in a large group. Your face blends into the hundreds of other faces standing in a night club, restaurant, or sporting event. If your face blends in with the rest it is doubtful women will notice you and less of chance that you will be able to score a date. Strutting your stuff increases your chances of getting married. Peacocks have beautiful colors that attract mates from a long distance. These peacocks spread their feathers out so all the other birds in the area see it. They will come close to check out the feathers and hang around the beautiful bird. As the birds get closer the peacock has a better chance of meeting them and being able to find a mate. It isn’t hard to strut your stuff like the peacock. It simply requires the ability to wear something that is unique and draws attention. This may be a unique wristwatch, an interesting shirt or a unique hat. These small things help people notice you in a large crowd and this noticing increase your chances to have someone smile and start a conversation. The goal is not to look so unique that you look odd. For example wearing an orange hunter blazer to a formal dinner isn’t going to do much for your social life. In this situation the orange blazer will probably make you a social leaper where people avoid you. As you try and start conversations you will notice the people turning their back to you slightly and act less interested in what you have to say. There is appropriateness to getting yourself noticed. Something small and unique can be a great conversation piece as well as a way to get noticed. It isn’t inappropriate or so noticeable that it looks out of place. Instead it is noticeable up close and very unique which makes it stand out. It should always be in good taste and worth commenting about. Let us say as an example you are wearing a hand crafted watch and someone says “that is a very nice watch you have on”. Now you have the ability to engage in a conversation which could potentially end up in a dating arrangement. It is the initial contact that is always the hardest.
