According to many experts, bilingual and translators are different from each other, although being a bilingual can relatively help in becoming a professional translator. The difference is that the the very nature of the different skills that each possesses, bilinguals and translators are not equally prepared to perform document translations. And according to many experts, a full-accomplished translator is not only a bilingual, but also a bicultural.
