A master CD or DVD should always be perfect in quality, especially when it has to be used for duplication or replication purpose. Several advancements have been introduced in the Duplication & Replication industry to enhance the quality of the discs produced, still, as the quality of the copies depends a lot upon the quality of the discs, therefore, it is important to create the master copy flawless. Here are some tips that would help in creating high quality maser discs: 1. Whenever you pick the optical storage disks to create the master copy, make sure that it is of high quality. It is better to invest the money in the disc of a good & reliable brand, as good quality discs produces good quality of copies and can used optimally for copying. 2. To copy the data on the master disc, avoid using the network source directly. It is ideal to copy the data on the local drive first and then burn the disc. If copying data to local drive is not possible, then you can also use hard drive first feature. This method creates a temporary image file while burning, to assure safety, and it automatically deletes the temporary file when burning process gets completed. 3. If you are burning the CD on laptop, then just ensure that the battery is fully charged, otherwise, it might create interruption or fluctuations in copying the data, which can ultimately affect the quality of the disc. 4. If you are choosing to opt for packet writing method to burn a master disc, then rethink. It is although a commonly used method due to the re-writing capabilities, yet it is seen that the format created by it is not compatible with every CD-ROM drive. 5. When the disc is burning, it better not to make any movement of the drive, otherwise there is a possibility of track getting skipped or jumped, which would ultimately lead to bad disc creation having poor quality. 6. There is a “burn proof” feature to burn the disc. If it is available to you, then prefer using the same, as this would ensure high quality. It might slower down the data supply, and make the copying process time taking, but for getting high quality, this much should be affordable. 7. Last but not the least; make sure that while copying the master disc too many applications are not open. If there are too many applications open, then that might affect the ability of the system to supply data to the burner drive Well, these are the tips, which would help you creating high-grade master copies for your duplication or replication project.
