K.I.S.S Keep It Short and Simple. Successfully written affirmations are short and to the point. Long written affirmations tend to lack focus, making it more difficult to bring about the things in your life that you desire. 2. Assumption One key to bringing about the physical manifestation of what you want in your life is to realize that it already belongs to you. Keep words like "I want" or "I will" out of your written affirmations. Instead, use phrases like "I have" or "I am" to reiterate that your life is already these things. 3. Visibility After you write down your affirmations keep them somewhere you will see them throughout the day. Hang them on the refrigerator, attach them to a bathroom mirror or place them on your work desk. Seeing your written affirmations throughout the day will keep them in your thoughts so your mind can use its power to keep bringing them closer to manifestation. 4. Conviction Only make written affirmations of things that you really want in your life. If your goals are wishy-washy then your effectiveness at bringing them into your life will be too. If you want to lose weight, for example, state your affirmation as your goal weight and keep it there instead of changing the weight you want to be. 5. Reinforcement Use all of your senses to bring your written affirmations into your life. Write them down with your hands, touching the words on the paper. Read them silently with your eyes and picture them in your mind. Read your words aloud to feel the words on your tongue and hear them with your ears. Cut out pictures from magazines to see physical visual representations of what you want in your life. The more senses you appeal to with your affirmations, the more fully you will be immersed in them and bring them into your life. Written affirmations are just one key tool to use in your arsenal of mind power techniques to bring about the positive changes you want in your life.
