Chicago, Illinois November 12, 2011. A lot of guys have a basic understanding of Cancer however Breast Cancer is a whole new ball game. Most men only understand Breast Cancer as little pick ribbons their girlfriend for sisters might attach in the month of October. It is understood unanimously that Breast Cancer is a killer that we all should play a part in trying to eliminate. Unfortunately, most males are unaware of the proper way to approach the subject with their significant other without causing alarm. It is difficult for guys to show sensitivity for Breast Cancer but all guys should take an interest. So what is a good way to show your wife or girlfriend you care? The first thing to understand is that Breast Cancer is the most likely form of Cancer that a woman can contract. Breast Cancer is associated with middle aged women however one can get Breast Cancer as early as 22 years old. The most difficult thought to process is that several things contribute to the likelihood that a woman will get Breast Cancer. High levels of hormones are a factor in the onset of Breast Cancer development and alcohol consumption and other daily activities that most men are not aware of. Other symptoms like losing hair and feeling painfully ill are associated with Breast Cancer so as men we must do our part to keep our women safe by taking measures to detect lumps in the Breast and a host of other things. Sometimes women simply forget that the possibility of Breast Cancer is looming at all times. Not to bum her out but if you have not heard her speak about the doctor – which women seem to do all the time – advise her to get a Breast screening. She will take that advice especially if it has slipped her mind. Not to call attention to her weight, simply incorporate more of a healthy diet. Breast Cancer can affect anyone but broccoli is known to help reduce the risk. Since elevated hormones are a risk factor forBreast Cancer, encourageher to take an aspirin from time to time.
