Why Can’t We Get a Good Democratic Candidate for President? Currently the leading candidates for president in the democratic party are an admitted socialist and a rich, elite lier. The scary thing about it is that there are tens of millions of people in this country supporting them. Is it so important to win that we support candidates that are not about America. Bernie seems to be honest, but his philosophy is un-American and his solutions have no chance of working. Hillary doesn’t have any concern for this country, but for her own power. Why have the democrats become a party that lies about everything. We have ideals about the poor and the working woman and man that transcend anything the republicans have. But we choose to define ourselves by whether we support abortion, gay marriage and environmental extremes. Not to say there is nothing important about these issues, but they should not be what defines us. We need to get back to the roots of the party where hard work, morals, anti-establishment and patriotism are paramount. It seems now the party has become a socialist party that panders to “big money” wherever they can get it. Hillary has as much involvement with Wall Street as any Republican ever has. How does she differ from supporting the rich and elite? The Republicans have gone far right, why do we have to go far left? Can’t we go to the middle and be the party of the people again, rather than the party of the rich and special interests? Donald Trump is capitalizing on his ability to be anti-establishment and doing it as a Republican. That is a democratic issue, but not anymore because the party has become part of the establishment. President Obama and Hillary are both owned by it. Bernie seems to be anti-establishment, but like I said, his ideas are unrealistic and impossible to implement not to mention against everything this country stands for and what made it great. The reason America became great is because it was not socialist like the rest of the world. It is the socialistic policies we have now that have hindered our nations growth and prosperity and we seem to want more of it. Having said that, capitalism has contributed to our corrupt nation as well. Those who got rich from it, use it to manipulate the government to their advantage and to swallow up any competition which hinders innovation and creativity. Still, with its great weaknesses it is better than socialism. We need to control the extreme capitalists rather than abandon it and become socialists. Of course neither will be productive or successful when greedy selfish people control them. The problem is the greed and it is among all parties and people. Some of the greatest economic growth was under Kennedy and Johnson and they were not socialists, nor was President Clinton. Favoring the rich and elite will not get us good jobs. Nor will taking the power from the people and giving it to the government. As President Clinton said, “We don’t want too much government, but we want enough.” If you want more information on supporting a democrat with traditional ideals, Please Visit our Site at: http://www.BrianReckforPresident.com
