Tea is a drink that is popular in many countries of the world. From teabags to tea leaves, we enjoy it in its many forms for many reasons: our health, hydration, and even just as something to drink whilst we unwind. There are some tea flavours that we are familiar with, including many brand named black teas and green tea varieties, but there are also some infusions which we may never have considered before. Liquorice Liquorice seems to be one of those flavours that is either loved or hated. If you are one of the people who enjoy the taste, liquorice tea may be a type of tea for you to try. There are some people who believe it may help to gently support digestion [1]. White Peony White peony tea is just another name for a type of white tea. The reason it is named as such is because the tea leaves actually look like little peonies. However, white peony tea is supposed to taste mellow and fresh [2], bringing a refreshing taste to your palate. White Rose Unlike white peony, white rose actually contains rosebuds in the ingredients list. However it does have the same mellow and smooth taste as white peony. White tea is supposed to have even more antioxidants than green tea, so it may be a healthy option too! [3] Acai Berry The acai berry is growing in popularity in smoothies and juices; however it is now making an appearance in tea too. The berry is supposed to taste like a combination of chocolate and berries, so it is no surprise that it has now been created into a flavour of tea as well. [1] UMM. (2010).
