When your friend is talking, always pay attention to what he or she is saying and you should maintain eye contact. This will make your friend feel that you are paying attention to what he or she is saying. The eyes particularly is the first thing that we see when we converse and we can tell if the person happy, sad or angry. Speak with a clear voice. You can get your message across easily and interestingly when you speak clearly. Your conversation would be more interesting. This would be an opportunity to help the listener understand your perspective, beliefs, ideas and points of view. Active listening. When you listen to what your friend is saying, it makes him or her feel that you do concentrate on your conversation and you have the desire to know his or her perspective. Do not interrupt. You should wait for your friend until he or she has finished talking before you talk.
