One of the more thought provoking books in the Be Able range of books is number 5 in the series which is entitled, ' Poems for Christians with a warped sense of humour' That about says it all really and children, and adults alike, for that matter are instantly drawn to anything like this. Even though this book has a serious message it portrays this message in a way that children of all ages will not only remember bit also learn from. For example, the theme of one of the poems is bullying. A serious matter if ever there was one but told in a manner such as this will have a much more memorable effect on the reader than in any of the more traditional methods. If only the matter of bullying was tackled in this way more often it would no doubt have a more beneficial effect on everyone that was involved. As the title would suggest, many of the poems are aimed at Christians but that does not mean for one minute that other people will not find them absolutely fascinating because they will. All of the poems, and for that matter, all of the books, do not preach about Christianity in any way so they really can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter what their political persuasions are. All of the Be Able books are available in a downloadable format which keeps the price down and it should be noted that teachers have permission to make multiple copies of the poems to distribute around the class room. It's not often that this kind of permission is given, especially not with a book that is this price so if you are a teacher that really is an added advantage that comes with some of the Be Able books.
