Nowadays kids have unlimited exposure to modern technology. This exposure is continuously increasing and happening at rapid pace. Gaming is not left out from this technological evolution. Kids have developed unimaginable attraction to virtual sports, which some parents might not like. Everyone can perfectly understand their concerns, but what parents miss out is that they can utilize this gaming revolution to their kids’ advantage. These virtual plays have many positive effects on kids’ development. some of them can be described as under 1. As per research, when kids play virtual sports, they have many wonderful experiences such as happiness, confidence, pride, curiosity, creativity, love, surprise etc. These human feelings/emotions play a major part in children’s development and improve their emotional quotient, which ultimately help in development of leadership characteristics. 2. When small kids play online sports then this helps in improving their intelligence quotient. But this should be done in proper supervision of parents. So on overall basis we can say that these virtual plays help in development of combination of intelligent and emotional quotient, which can play a crucial role on children’s latter part of life. They will be more efficient in dealing their personal and professional problems, when they are grown up as adults. When children play these virtual sports on virtual playgrounds, then higher-level thinking skills are developed, such strategy formulation, leadership conduct, dealing with group dynamism etc., which are very crucial skills in today’s management literature. 3. Kids, who play online interactive sports, are able to develop superior motor skills. These virtual games involve sudden response to crisis situations, which helps in development of motor neuron response system. This development can play very crucial part at the time of driving, where ample of times drivers have to respond to crisis situations, without giving a thought to solutions. So these sports help in development of safe driving skills. Even some of the real life personal and professional problems require quick response without even giving thought to possible solutions. So kid playing these games is developed as a successful individual in his/her personal and professional life. 4. Every kid needs a healthy combination of mental and physical exercise. So parents need to be very careful when they allow children to play online sports. They should always encourage their kids to play both. They should try to positively influence their children so that they themselves are able to think in that direction. This needs development of healthy understanding between parents and their kids, so that kids are able to realize, that parents ultimately want their benefit. If children are able to think in this direction, then virtual plays can prove to be a boon to them. Parents usually reject their kids playing online sports .They think that these are addicting and can spoil kids’ future. But this is rarely true if parents encourage their kids to do the same in their proper guidance and supervision. They can guide them to play right categories of virtual sports. It is fundamental principle that if you warn or threaten your kids not to do any work, they will do that one only. So it is better for parents to imply different tactics to persuade them to play proper games in non addictive way. In that way kids will have good opportunity to entertain themselves, which will improve their efficiency and creativity. This will increase their learning experience. I advice worried parents to look virtual sports in a complete new perspective and contribute to kids’ development. Gaming portals contain many knowledge games for kids , which are very helpful in children’s mental development. These portals contain many categories of games. Some of the categories available are Award Winning Board Games Kids, Dress Up Games for Girls Free Download, Driving Games for PC, Free Action Games for PC, Jigsaw Games for PC , Puzzle Games Online Play Now, Shooting Games Online Free To Play 3D etc. As a conclusion we can say that these online games are double edged sword to kids. If they play these ones under proper parental guidance and supervision, then the same can play crucial role in development of their human traits and intelligence. On the other hand addiction to these games can spoil their future. So parents are advised to deal very carefully, when children are attracted to these virtual sports.
