The women behind NBA superstars continue revealing the kind of life that partners of professional basketball players have, this Basketball Wives season three. Shaunie O’Neal, executive producer of the reality show, said the TV series is just another slice of reality. The third season further presents about the insider lives of women dealing with glamour, jealousies, violence and other dramas of being romantically linked with elite basketball players. In the TV series, the women will continue keeping their group at bay, while wandering if their traveling partners are faithful to them. The third season started on May 30, 2011. The show was also created by O’Neal, the ex-wife of NBA center Shaquille O’Neal and is being filmed in Miami, Florida. Included in the cast are Royce Reed, former girlfriend of Dwight Howard (NBA center) of the Orlando Magic; Evelyn Lozoda, ex-fiancée of basketball star Antoine Walker and now engaged to football star Chad Ochocinco; Jennifer Williams, ex-wife of Eric Williams (former NBA small forward); Suzie Ketcham, ex-girlfriend of Michael Olowokandi; Tami Roman, ex-wife of Kenny Anderson; Meeka Claxton, wife of Speedy Claxton (former NBA player), and; Faith Rain, girlfriend of Udonis Haslem of the Miami Heat. According to Wikipedia, the show is being watched by about 1.6 million viewers. For this new season, Ketcham is returning after getting exiled recently due to disputes with Lozoda. Roman also continues working with the show after her successful arrival in season two. To be observed on the show, Reed will never mention the name of her former boyfriend after Howard filed an injunction against her. According to Howard’s camp, Reed has been ranting and raving about him being a deadbeat dad on the internet and in an interview on ESPN. Reed is someone whom she wanted to give time to, O’Neal realized. O’Neal added they realized Reed is a type of woman that needs some sort of drama going on in her life.
