Battle bloatware reached the clouds. A new tool on Tuesday announced the PC collects information from other users via the Web to help computers run faster and free up disk space.
Software Utilities SlimComputer of Slimware collects user evaluations of programs that come with computers and aggregates data to decide which ones to delete. Users can give ratings from unwanted programs good.

Software vendors often pay computer manufacturers to include trial versions of their software on new computers. Usually referred to as bloatware, the software can slow down the boot time, drag on performance and disk space. Other examples include tools bloatware trials and accounting software.
SlimWare trying to be careful not to interfere with important system programs such as antivirus programs and safeguards to prevent such software is uninstalled, Cope said.
