We had the impression that the day will come. In fact, since the previous report from last month, knew here not happen. Android officially passed the iPhone in the U.S., where traffic is concerned. AdMob released figures for March and is full of goodness Android
Here are some of the conclusions of the report:.
Two devices with Android, HTC Dream Magic, and together represented 96% of Android traffic in September 2009. Seven months later, on 11 facilities represented 96% of traffic on the network AdMob Android. Motorola was the leading Droid Android handset in March 2010 and 32% of its total worldwide traffic Android. Google Nexus generated only 2% of the traffic Android in March 2010. At least 54% of traffic comes from Android devices with QWERTY keyboard. These include three of the five android, Droid Motorola, HTC Dream, and Motorola CLIQ. 92% of traffic comes from Android-powered devices with a processor slower than 600 MHz in March 2010.
March was a very good month for Android. It is certainly getting couples, but only because they passed this month the iPhone, does not mean that Apples darling will not come out swinging next month(however unlikely). Well see how long you hold out Android to the crown. June is coming, afterall, and usually means New iPhone .
I do not know what will happen, but the Evo 4G is also starting in the summer, is already a bit stiff competition. I hope Google is smart and is working on them sequel Nexus probably intended for business users. I have a feeling well hear more about how Android 2.2 comes out.
What would be really nice is if Google has released superphone for each major release of the Android software.
