The Grateful Dead is an old icon with talented music. No one will ever come close to the Grateful Dead’s sound. The Grateful Dead started there American band in nineteen sixty five in Palo Alto, California. The Grateful Dead has sold more than thirty five thousand dollars just from record sales alone. Members of the Grateful Dead had played together in various San Francisco bands, including Mother McCree's Uptown Jug Champions and the Warlocks. Lesh was the last member to join the Warlocks before they became the Grateful Dead; he replaced Dana Morgan Jr., who had played bass for a few gigs. The bands fans were mostly hippies as that was the generation back then. The Grateful Dead’s music will always be an icon all over the world. The Grateful Dead has their own symbol of a skull with roses around the skull with bright colors such as red, white, blue and green for the stems from the roses. I have seen someone driving on the road with a hitch cover on their vehicle with a design of the Grateful Dead. I could not believe how great that looked. What a conversation piece to display and surely proud to show off. I will say the best Grateful Dead symbol I seen was on a derby cover on a motorcycle. Man, this was cool and I could not believe how the Grateful Dead derby cover just stood out. There are many Grateful Dead products out there worldwide from wallets, flags to motorcycle items. The Grateful Dead I am sure many will agree has the best music out there and relaxed you and send you in a calm state. I am proud to show off my Grateful Dead products I have collected throughout the years. I have seen the Grateful Dead coffee mugs and beer mugs here and there. That is what I been meaning to get for myself. The Grateful Dead began their career as the Warlocks, a group formed in early 1965 from the remnants of a Palo Alto, California called Mother McCree uptown jug champions. The Grateful Dead has made a name for them for years and I hope that never changes. Many people in the late sixties and seventies just relaxed and listened to some good tunes from the Grateful Dead and smoked pot just relaxing. Those were the days and I will never forget Wood Stock. What an era!! If any of you read this and attended Wood Stock I bet you remember it well. Peace man!!
