Amazon has raised the bar with its really cool Kindle DX model of the incredibly popular Kindle Reader line of eBook Readers. The Amazon Kindle DX which is a wireless eBook reading device is much larger than its predecessors, Kindle and Kindle 2 readers. It is 9.7" in length and is ideal for reading newspapers, magazines and textbooks.

The latest Amazon Kindle maintains Amazon's vast lead over other ebook readers and makes it the best eBook reader right now. It overcomes the challenge from Sony eBook readers PRS 500 and PRS 700 and Nook which has yet to really hit the market. The cool Kindle DX display is very easy to read because it uses the latest technology in electronic ink technology.

The new Amazon Kindle DX has an huge internal memory of about 4GB which can store up to 3,500 books. You can take this massive library anywhere in the world with you. If you are on the move and want to download a new book it can be done anywhere in the US. But unlike its predecessor Kindle 2 you cannot download while traveling abroad. Like its predecessors Amazon Kindle DX does not have external memory card slots to allow you to create libraries on your own digital media. Look for such features in future models. At the moment the bigger sleeker Amazon Kindle DX is more expensive than its smaller predecessor the 6" Amazon Kindle 2.
