The need for a smart phone in a daily life is increasing with each passing day and so are the requirements by the customers increasing to new levels. This is a never saturating race and the conditions keep changing. The brands have to get new phones into the market at a constant pace while the customers keep increasing their demands as new technology surfaces with each passing day. The series of smart phones from the brands are now expanding into each segment which gives the users a lot of options to select from. Among all the units there are certain models which instantly catch the attention and become a hit among the masses. One such phone from the entry level segment is the Samsung Galaxy Mini which is turning many eyes due to its amazing combination of performance and affordability. It is amazing that Samsung could pull off a smart phone at this price range. There are certain compromises the firm made with the phone but it is quite acceptable as it does not affect the functionality of the phone. The phone has a 3.14 inch TFT screen which is quite responsive to the touch and has quite an efficient UI which makes it a fun to navigate through the phone. At certain angles the screen becomes a bit grainy and in the sunlight it can be a pain but it is nothing major as a certain degree of these problems can be found in the other phones too. The exteriors are made of plastic and those who are expecting for a better finish for the device with metallic inputs should look for something with a better price tag. The Samsung galaxy mini comes with the well tried tested and successful Android Gingerbread OS which gives one the access to the android market which has millions of apps waiting for one to make use of. The processor speed is decent and one is advised not to test the multi functioning of the phone as one might just stumble up to the phone’s limit and that might not be such a pleasant experience.
