The Sony Ericsson P1i is designed marvelously with a large screen and a Qwerty keypad that resembles a calculator. This mobile works on both 2G and 3G networks and have dimensions of 106 x 55 x 17 mm. The weight of this handset is 124 gms. It is very amazing for a mobile with so many features to have so less weight. The display screen of the set is a TFT touch screen that gives a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This 2.6 inch screen supports 256 K colours. The Ericsson P1i phone has a large memory and can download ringtones of any format. The handset, however, is preloaded with ringtones that are polyphonic as well as MP3 in nature. Downloading of pictures, videos and games is also easy due to the large memory support of the handset. Any messages that are received can also be stored in its memory for a long time without deleting them. Playing high definition games is thrilling on this mobile as every icon is displayed with the best resolutions. The endeavour of Nokia has been to deliver high-end gadgets and this mobile can be taken as a proof of the efforts of the company in this direction. The 3.15 MP camera of the Sony Ericsson P1i is a lovely option for getting optimum pictures at a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. This camera has auto focus option and one can also use it for video recording. There is also a secondary camera that serves the purpose of making video calls. The other options that bring entertainment are the integrated music player and FM radio. The music player can play songs on all the popular formats and the FM radio is a means of updating oneself with the latest happenings. There are also other entertainment programs hosted by the radio jockey; these could be either related to popular songs, musical concerts or hilarious comedy and the users can take their pick depending on their specific preferences. This lovely set is connected with options such as GPRS, HSCSD, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB port. There is no doubt about the fact that all these options can be used as alternative means of connecting with others. Bluetooth can be used to wirelessly transfer music, video and picture files to other compatible devices. The other alternatives help increase the speed of Internet downloads and file transfers. The battery gives a standby time of 440 hr and a talktime of 10 hr. There is 160 MB shared memory in the phone - which makes it all the more useful.
