There are lots of hype going between the cable and satellite television. But there's one question that is really familiar for most cable and satellite television users around the world that needs to know about it. Which one do you think is better? Is it the cable TV subscription? Or is it the satellite television subscription? To tell you frankly, is it really a big issue for all of us on choosing the right kind of entertainment at home? We'll, we know that comparing them is a tough one and it needs us to make the right decision. Let's find out which ones are better for all of us to be entertained at home for good? When you make a comparison between cable TV and satellite TV, you will find out that the major reasons why a lot of Americans are switching from cable TV to satellite TV include the cost, the program choices, picture quality, and customer satisfaction. The cable TV fee per month is on average of $39.99 across the country, for sixty-four channels with additional $10.95 for digital channels. To install one in a room would cost $39.95 and for each additional room, an extra $9.95 will be required. From Dish Network, you can pay Satellite TV fees of $31.99 for sixty channels per month. While with DirecTV you can get 115 channels at $41.99 per month. For even better service, these two satellite TV providers offer some satellite TV tools for free; they also provide free installation in as much as four rooms. In terms of the programs, cable TV has its broadcast in analog format and the channels are nearly as much as the satellite TV. If you need to have digital sound and picture, additional fee is required. The satellite TV has more channels comprising over 250 channels and offers better HDTV programming. The broadcast of all satellite TV channels is in digital format which produces the highest sound and picture quality. The cable TV requires only cable boxes for connection with an incoming cable line which connects with your television. These cable boxes are usually without charges but an extra fee is required for digital video recorder. The equipment needed for satellite TV are the TV dish and receivers. This equipment and its installation are offered by both DirecTV and Dish Network for free. There has been an average of 3-5% outages of the cable TV per year while satellite TV has an average outage of 1% per annum. So which ones do you think is better? Cable or satellite? The decision is only up to you, because both of them are TV's. Check out the best Comcast Bundles for you to experience fun and entertainment at home like no other.
