Slim phones have come up in a big way in the last couple of years. Motorola has been the guiding force behind this revolution, fueling slim phone's popularity, initially with Motorola RAZR and its subsequent models and more recently, the Motorola L6. While the members of the RAZR family were of clamshell form, the company decides to come up with a mono-block slim variant to add more strength to their portfolio. This candy-bar handset became very popular within a short span of time, wooing customers across all sections by not only its sleek dimensions, but also with many cutting edge technologies incorporated. The sleek Motorola L6 boast of slim dimensions of 113 x 49 x 10.9 mm, which till date is one of the most compact handset available. Equally lightweight at mere 86 grams, the Motorola L6 slips easily to any pocket without letting their presence felt. The display of the handset is CSTN based, that can produce more than 65k different shades across its 128 x 160 pixels. It sports a scratch resistant glass aimed to protect the screen from physical wear and tear and thereby remaining 'new' for a much longer period of time. The keypad used in the Motorola L6 are the same that are used in RAZR mobile phones – flat and very tactile metal etched keypad that looks good and works great. The Motorola L6 supports triband GSM mobile network and changes its band automatically. This means that you get seamless voice connectivity in more than a hundred countries across five continents without any hassle. The Motorola L6 can also be used to surf the Internet, send instant message or send and receive emails. Built in class 10 GPRS technology provides its user with decent data speed. Built in WAP/XHTML browser of the handset is easy to use and navigate. Local connectivity tools to connect and share information with compatible devices includes Bluetooth and miniUSB.
