So you accidentally had your hair cut far shorter than you expected. While there are many ways to grow your hair faster than its normal growth, face it, hair does not grow an inch overnight. You will still have to deal with the pains of a horrible haircut. Then again, a haircut gone wrong does not always mean you always have to look as ugly as you think your cut is. If it is really that bad of a cut, there are always means of fixing it to make it look better. Fixing a terribly bad haircut would need quite an amount of effort; but don’t let that bad hair ruin your day because it will eventually grow back. The only difference is it will not be anytime soon. What you need to do in order to survive that awful haircut is a hair extension. Hair extensions will make styling easy as it adds that temporary length to your hair without having to cost a large amount of fortune. These hair accessories/substitutes are medium to long lengths of synthetic or real strands of hair; and are commonly connected or attached to your hair to add length and/or volume. Hair extensions come in a wide variety of colors/shades (blonde hair extensions, brunettes, browns, auburn, and crazy/funky colors like sky blue, lavender and etc…) length, texture (curly, wavy, straight, and etc...) and material (human hair extensions, synthetics and mixed). When attaching hair extensions, customers and buyers have several attachment method options. - Sewn-in – To be able to attach sewn-in extensions you will have to ask help from a professional hair dresser. This would need professional expertise as the sewing process can be tedious and complex. Inappropriate sewing of hair extensions may lead to stretched and damaged hair and a scalp that hurts. When attached properly though, you get sturdy hair extensions that are blended so well that you won’t look like you are wearing any.
- Glued-in - Is a method quite similar to sewn-in extensions. The only difference is that it uses glue instead of sewing the extensions into your hair. The process can be as tedious and would also require a professional’s assistance.
- Clip-in - Clip in hair extensions are very economical and are the easiest to attach and detach. In comparison to other methods, clip in extensions do not damage your hair and works as simple as clipping hair barrettes.
