Many companies utilize different strategies and techniques to market their products and services to the consumer. As technology advances additional marketing strategies emerge and are used to advertise many different campaigns that are normally targeted to certain audiences. Today, the internet provides many opportunities for those who want to market their products to large targeted audiences. Video promotions are one of the better techniques that work very well for most companies and businesses. This type of promotion can be very successful when the following tips are applied to the marketing campaign. The first tip for marketing is to keep the message short. This is a key factor when producing any promotional video and placing it on the company’s website. Research studies show most viewers have very short attention spans, which means any message that has a length of more than three minutes will more than likely lose the viewers attention. Another important tip is to be very clear about the message that is being sent to a certain target audience. Specifically, responding to the question, what is the companies niche and how the service or product superior and distinctive? The third recommendation is to focus on two key aspects of the business. The video should not give a complete or detailed history of the company but this should be available for a potential client or customer to seek to find out more as well as contact someone in the organization. The video promotion should also target or engage a certain audience. Online audiences (such as through Facebook and YouTube) are different from corporate audiences, which means the promotional information and angles will have different content. For example, a sales presentation for a client will include additional details and features included. Although it may seem too traditional or cliché, testimonials from clients are very effective when trying to sell the services or products of a specific company or a corporation. With written testimonials on the Internet, many people may have issues trusting the information. However, live testimonials are very often much more believable. The presence of real faces provides the consumer with the confidence that they will have the opportunity to work with a reputable company. Real life experience with a consumer is also a very persuasive technique for selling the companies story. With real success stories, a business can tell how the company’s products or services increased their client’s profits and business.
