Seemingly always prone to leaks, Dell had its road map for forthcoming phones and tablets leaked the Acer UM08A31 other day, and now Engadget has received more details about the company’s Windows 7 tablet, code-named Rosemount and due in June. First off, the tablet will be given Acer Aspire One battery branding and, as such, will be geared toward the corporate world. It will be powered by an Intel Atom “Oak Trail” processor and come with a removable battery. It will also feature a number of enterprise features, including support for hp mini 210 battery stylus input as well as touch, software encryption, and the ability to do a remote wipe. Between this rumored product and the LENOVO 57Y4565 battery Slate, it’s obvious that Windows 7 tablets are being marketed as enterprise devices, which isn’t necessarily a terrible thing for Microsoft given how glutted the consumer space will be with Android tablets, the BlackBerry PlayBook, HP TouchPad, and a likely new iPad. If you’re looking for more innovation from Microsoft around tablets, it might come with Windows 8 — and Dell has a tablet, code-named Peju, on its roadmap for 2012.
