As we get older, it gets more difficult to make new friends. Most of your time is spent either at work, with your kids, with your significant other, or all of the above. Overall, we’re living our own lives. And it’s the same case with our friends so it becomes more difficult to schedule time to meet up. I’m personally starting to feel the difficulty in meeting new people as well, especially since I’m no longer in school and would much rather be left alone doing my own things. It was so much easier when we were younger and friendships kind of just came naturally. And now it’s a mystery all over again. You know how it’s a real problem? If you search anything along the lines of, “How to make friends as adults” in a search engine, you’ll see multiple articles and videos talking about it. Take this random article from Oprah Daily, “6 Easy Ways to Make New Friends as an Adult.” And those six ways were: 1. Using a friend matchmaking app like Hey! VINA. 2. Join a Meetup group. 3. Take adult classes. 4. Find a local book club or visit the library. 5. Go to a dog park. 6. Use social media. While they’re all great options, what’s interesting is that they all boil down to one important thing. And that is, show up somewhere on a regular basis. It’s true if you think about it. Once your face becomes familiar in any setting, people will want to talk to you. That’s why it’s easy to meet people in school or church or a workplace. But that little piece of wisdom is also the way to succeed in email marketing. Sending out emails on a consistent basis. And the more frequent, the better. Especially if you write emails the way I teach in How to Become an Email Titan. https://EllisenWang.com/email-titan-sample About the author: Ellisen Wang is an email copywriter and the author of “How to Become an Email Titan.” You can read the sample chapters of the book and learn how to write email copy that your subscribers will never get enough of and will make them want to buy from you by opting in at EllisenWang.com.
