Shyness is a very common disorder. Shyness makes people unhappy, makes it harder to become a successful person and reduces satisfaction with life in general. Exposure First you have to learn to act despite your anxiety. This is a very important concept: if you don’t learn how to feel comfortable in your own skin and don’t increase your self-esteem, you’ll always experience anxiety around people who you believe are superior to you. Change this mentality. Don’t think about people in terms of superior/inferior. Everyone is equal. 3. Meet with the right people Lastly, a supportive social circle is a must. Meet as often as you can with super confident people who will teach you (if only by imitating them) how to become confident. You won’t become a confident person by reading comics with all the shy kids from the school. You have to go out and become more sociable. As you can see, improving your self-confidence is a simple process but it doesn’t mean it’s effortless. Once you follow these three simple tips, you will considerably improve your confidence. Just don’t forget that it takes a lot of practice and a lot of determination to get over your shyness permanently.
