How to Make Your Clubbing Holiday a Success

Travel & Tourism
When booking a clubbing holiday with the boys, there are loads of important things you need to remember to do: pack your sunglasses, look up the DJ listings for each club, source the nearest beach for all your post-party watersports needs, to name just a few. What you don’t want to be worrying about is actually having a good time.

Luckily, the best clubbing resorts have all the deep fried goodness, cheap drinks and wild parties you could possibly want... if you know where to look for them. Here’s some handy tips for making the most out of your lads clubbing holiday without breaking the bank.

Jump the Queue

The biggest club destinations like Ibiza and Magaluf are now more popular than ever, and rightly so, as they draw in the best names in dance music and create the most unforgettable parties. However, these nights tend to come hand-in-hand with a hefty price tag. By booking your club night tickets in advance online, you can save a whole load of cash, as well as skipping that endless queue.

Another option is to look out for promo crews outside the clubs. They usually have wristbands with discounted or even free entry to the parties, which means more money for that takeaway at the end of the night!

Get Cheap Drinks

Despite being incredible, the clubs in all popular European hotspots can be a bit on the pricey side. You’re looking at about €15 for a vodka mixer, which can add up quickly during a long session of partying. A cheaper – and more fun – alternative could be to start the night early at your place. Get in some crates from the local supermarket, put the music on and play a few drinking games. That way you won’t need to buy drinks in the club to get you into the party spirit.

If you’re looking for something closer to the action, a lot of bars and pubs around the strip put on happy hours in the early evening. You could even combine this with a pub dinner to line your stomach.

Get VIP Treatment

So you’ve done all the prep, and now all that’s left is to have an amazing night. The clubs are always an incredible experience by themselves, but if you want to make your trip extra special, you can book a VIP table for the superstar treatment. You’ll jump the queue and get your own personal waiter, as well as a discount if there’s a big group of you. If you take along 8 or 9 mates, you’re looking at a very reasonable €200 each, which is worth it to feel like a king (or queen) for the night.

How to Get There

Whichever destination you pick for your all-out, no-holds-barred clubbing holiday, Shuttle Direct can get you there in style. Everyone knows that holiday drinking starts in the airport – when you’ve booked your shuttle online in advance, you can sink as many pints as you like and breeze through arrivals safe in the knowledge that someone else has agreed to do the driving at the other end!

Lukas Johannes is a driver for Shuttle Direct, the number one provider of shared and private airport transfers all over Europe and northern Africa. If you’re heading off on a fun filled clubbing holiday Lukas and his colleagues can make sure that you and your luggage get to and from the airport swiftly and safely.
