Hardwood floors are sort of trending right now, but beautiful carpet in Chandler, AZ, is still a huge selling point in many homes. Carpet is comfortable to walk on, safe for children to play on, and makes a room feel more relaxing and cozy. Many people still prefer carpeted bedrooms to other flooring choices. There are a ton of different styles and colors of carpet to choose from, but here are a few of the basic textures you’ll encounter on your search. Frieze This is the modern version of shag carpeting. The yarn fibers in this style are longer and have more twists than other styles. Because of the twists and length, this carpet doesn’t show footprints, but can get matted over time if there is too much foot traffic. Nonetheless, it is a very popular choice for cut pile carpeting. Textured This is another option for a cut pile style. The carpet fibers on this design are cut at random lengths giving it a textured look, and the yarn is not as dense as some other carpet choices. The result is a comfortable look that is very forgiving of a little dirt. Berber It is sometimes called level loop. This is because it loops at the top instead of having the tips cut like frieze or textured carpet. The yarn is looped close together to give it a uniform and smooth look. It’s great for areas of the home that get a lot of traffic. It’s durable and can hide dirt to a degree depending on the color. The only downside is that sometimes the seams are visible because of the carpet’s low profile. Cut and Loop This type of carpet in Chandler AZ, is exactly what its name implies; it is a mix of both cut tips and looped yarn. Because of its style, this is the best at hiding dirt, stains, and imperfections.
