Located adjacent to the southwest border of the city of Phoenix, Arizona, the city of Goodyear features nearly 200 square miles of plains and rivers. In their annual study, NerdWallet, a company focused on helping people lead better lives through financial education and empowerment, ranked Goodyear as the third best city in the nation for veterans, based on its economic opportunity criteria for veterans. Add to this the national real estate firm Movoto’s recently ranking Goodyear as one of its top 10 "Best Places Near Phoenix for Young Professionals," and anyone can see that Goodyear is a great place to live for young and not so young alike. What’s Good about Goodyear Being just 20 minutes west of downtown Phoenix, Goodyear offers all the advantages of living in a mid-sized community of palm-lined streets with all the cultural and entertainment resources of a major metropolitan area such as Phoenix.
