Finding the right school for your child can be a daunting task. If you're on the hunt, chances are you've decided that the public school system is not adequate for your child's needs. If you have an exceptional student, make sure that the curriculum is challenging and fast paced enough to keep them busy. If you have a special needs student, make sure the teacher-to-student ratios are small enough that they will get the attention they need. Computers Are Real Another thing to consider when looking at schools is whether they are operating within the framework of the modern world. While reading, writing, and arithmetic are certainly the framework for a successful education, computers and social media are the tools with which they will be done. If the school you're looking at pretends that computers are nonexistent, you may end up with a child well-versed in the classics who can't function at a professional level. The entire point of education is to equip students with everything they will need in order to succeed, be sure to only consider private high schools in North Shore that have a strong technology program.
