The American Muslims endorse repeated efforts of the New York Times, and Huffington Post in removing false perceptions against the followers of Muslim faith. Christians constitute 32%, followed by the 23% of the population of Muslim faith across the globe. Global culture, and American might can only be defeated, if these two populations are pitched against each other, the very objective behind the creation of the ISIS, ISIL, Al Qaeda, Taliban and Hezbollah. The financiers, and the logistic support behind these organizations have had been a matter of debate and controversy. Anti Islamic, and anti U.S. objectives remains a popular perception amongst Muslim majority regarding these outlaws. American society is open to her preferences, and anything that constitutes U.S. interests based on majority opinion needs to be respected. The moment America imposes her values and vision on others, and behaves with a narrow and shallow thinking, I am afraid the moral high grounds and values of this culture is lost? America is the sole superpower on earth today. HOW? Question-1: Was that possible without the support of Muslim nations, Afghanistan and Pakistan in dismantling communist myth of the USSR? Question-2: U.S. trade with China is worth over half a trillion dollars each year. Was Sino American relationship possible without the help of a Muslim nation, Pakistan? Question-3: America is fighting a war on terror. Was that possible without the help of Muslim nations? Historically, the first country to recognize the United States was a Muslim nation, the Morocco. Wasn’t it? And today, the majority Americans chose a man through popular votes twice as the President of the United States with a solid Muslim ancestry. CONCLUSION: My opinion and speculation: The vast majority of the United States does NOT support anti Muslim rhetoric, and any of the Presidential candidates promoting hate would NEVER win the 2016. Those campaign managers who have devised strategies to create a vote bank through hate ideology risk losing popular votes, and as a senior Republican myself, I am afraid this may cost the 2016 elections for the Republicans, should the hate promoters are nominated in the primaries, however I am fully confident that may not happen. The political dynamics of the United States has changed today where a good majority of white population, the African American, Latinos, Jewish and Muslim votes have developed a pattern of accommodating each other, more than ever before. The 2008, 2012, national elections, and the last NYC Mayor’s election have displayed those dynamics of a new century America. A culture of a highly tolerant and receptive America has emerged to meet global challenges of this century. This is why America stands as ‘the’ sole super power of today.
