Advanced Tactical Riflescope or, ATACR 5x-25 x 56 is the new version of NXS series, which is a renowned brand name in the history of unprecedented long range shooting competence and image quality. Its 34mm tube allows for 120 MOA/34.9Miles of elevation adjustment more than the highly capable NXS series. It has enlargement range of 5x-25x and a great field of view, as a result of its unique optical quality17.96’ at 5x.It covers virtually any situation a shooter could encounter. The power of ATACR Mils is compact, measuring 14.3” in length. The ATACR comes with two of most sophisticated reticles, leaving nothing to chance. It has second focal plane with magnification of 5-25x; objective diameter is 56mm, field of view is 100 yards.Eye relief offered is 90mm, internal adjustment range is 120 MOA elevation and 60 MOA wind. Ocular diameter is 44mm, and mounting length is 156mm, weighing 38oz and overall length is 14.3”. It possesses two reticles MOAR, MilR with standard illumination. ATACR optics is night vision compatible provided which type of NV system is used with the scope. In LNV which is mounted in front of the optic is compatible with ATACR optics assuming that the correct mounting height is maintained for right alignment. Rear mounted units are compatible assuming that ATACR illumination is turned off. All Nightforce riflescopes comes with illuminated reticle. The illumination is activated by pulling out on the parallax knob. The illumination intensity is pre-set at the factory for a low ambient light level situation. The Concentration of the light is not externally adjustable. Adjustment is located beneath the battery. Ballistic reticles catering to most of the calibres. Nightforce optics offers two types of velocity reticles. Airstream compensation is 5 – 10mph augmentations and standard illumination. Even if a bullet hits/ penetrates the erector tube of your riflescope, the heart of the scope’s optical system, only the magnification ring got damaged in the process, not the scope or the soldier. A bullet 7.62x39 fired at the Nightforce Riflescope could not damage the scope’s optical system!! It’s amazing for the soldier. The magnification, its focus, tracking and all other functions work just fine. It can hold point of aim just like new. The soldier just wrapped the riflescope in duct tape to protect it from dirt, used it without a problem for next few days, completing his mission.
