There are a lot of interesting things to do in ArcheAge. You can do quests, fight with players in PvP, deliver trade packages, craft useful items but one of the most interesting activity is to rob players with your friends in the sea. There is a special playable Pirates Faction in ArcheAge. Everyone can join pirates and take advantage of being a member of this powerful group. As you probably know there are 2 general factions in the game. When you create your character you have to choose a faction to join. This original choice is of course important and you can’t move from West faction into the Eastern one. But you can leave your faction and join pirates. This choice is also important because once you join them it will be very difficult to return back. What ate the advantages of joining this faction? You can kill and rob players from 2 other faction without penalties. It’s the most valuable bonus. Traditionally Pirates in AA rob traders who deliver trade packages and you will not get penalties for this. You can visit special island for Pirates only. Other players can’t visit it. You can take new quests and earn more money from this. On the one hand these bonuses look attractive. But there are also many disadvantages. You will not be able to play or interact with non-pirates. You will be removed from your non-pirate guild and will not be able to join non-pirates in the game. You become enemy to any other non-pirate players and you can be attacked by them any time anywhere. You are the criminal and nobody likes you. Being a pirate is not an easy job and may affect your relations with your friends. If you join this faction you will not be able to play with them in one group. So think twice before becoming warrior of the sea. There is one thing I would like to advice: don’t try to join them in early levels. You will face with many difficulties and will lose possibility to complete quests for your main faction. That’s not good because you lose opportunity to get money and experience. You’d better reach maximum level first and then rush into this interesting life. Moreover, every Pirate has to have a ship in order to attack others in the sea. If you are low level player your chances to build a good ship are very low. That’s the biggest obstacle. I advise you to build a ship first. This will make your gameplay more interesting and will give you good chances to succeed as a sea robber.
