Panel board in its several forms is one of the top products for making remodeling projects faster and easier. The top secret is to purchase fine quality panel board meeting the specifications for the project and then, install it with consideration. Panel board generally comes in 4x8 foot panels which are made of particle board or plywood with a finish layer on top. The exquisiteness of prefinished panel board is that it needs no paint, sanding, primer or taping. There are distribution boards which are designed for outdoor usage like, siding, for usage in bathrooms and kitchens, where there is moisture present, for bedrooms and family rooms, or anywhere else in the home. At times, it is known as paneling, these boards come in varied different qualities, patterns, and fee points. A good distribution board definition must be: a panel of 4x8' or another standard size like 2x4'. This panel is made up of a base layer of plywood, particle board or alike manufactured wood product with groove edges and tongue or other edge design which makes the panels look beautifully installed side by side. There is then a completed layer laminated to the base. This finish layer could look like wood, ceramic, stone, wall paper, bead board or other materials. These finishes could be of varying materials and qualities. Wood Panel Boards could be a layer of real wood known as veneer, or it could be a photographic finish with a protective finish over it. White panel board could have a bead board look with grooves depicting narrow boards, look like painted wood, whitewashed wood, white ceramic tile or various different patterns. Wood panel board is ideal for wood looks; however the photo finish wood looks are less costly. Tile board could be a flat photo finish of tile, the tile pattern could have grooves around the tiles for looking more real or it could have ceramic tiles or plastic adhered to the board. Attractive distribution panelboard takes days off a remodeling project since it eliminates the finishing steps one would require with a sheet rocked wall. There is no mudding, taping or sanding needed. Paneling could be installed over existing walls, or with new construction it is a first-class idea for putting sheetrock on the wall like a backing. If it would be covered with the panel board it doesn't require be taping or else finishing.
