Some people are so turned off by the person that comes to the door, the unexpected phone call at dinner, or even the relative that has started their own business and just would like to share it with you. Relax. It's okay to say no to these people. But having a closed mind is not okay. I get it. You don't want to feel like you've been sold. Or took. But in reality, by not taking a professional look at some of the offers that are out there, you are really limiting your possibilities. Ask yourself this question. If the person that was trying to 'pitch' to you simply was self-serving and not trying to help you, will you be able to detect that and say no? Absolutely. By taking a professional look at anything, you will be able to sniff out what's good for your or what's not good for you. Same holds true for network marketing. Network marketers are in the business of helping people. In order for someone in multi-level marketing to be successful, they have to help other people. Salesmen on the other hand typically work for a company. Although they receive a commission, the company's mission is priority. There is a big difference. Network marketing helps people in numerous ways. Imagine you have health issues. Pick one. Heart disease, diabetes, or obesity. You have been struggling for a very long time with your current regimen for getting better. Then along comes a family member or friend that asks you to take about 15 minutes to look at a presentation that will help you with your ailment. What do you do? Most people would considered this to be a sales pitch and would not go further. They would much rather continue to suffer due to their pride. But your friend is not a salesmen he is in network marketing. So his mission is to help people that are in need. Not to service every customer that comes through the door. So your network marketing buddy purposefully thought about you. Thought of your ailment and offered you a solution that would help you. Not only that, the solution was half the price of your current regimen. Finally, you have the ability to get it for free or earn money by sharing your experience with other people that need it. Now how did that really cost you? The only thing that it really cost you was about 15 minutes. Is 15 minutes worth having a need met? Making ulimited amounts of income on a residual basis? So when you need help in any area, the friend that's in network marketing is really only there to help. And feel free to say no. It's okay. They are professionals.
