It's also easier to heat in the winter as wooden houses are harder to insulate and are vulnerable to humidity. Although both materials have strong general benefits, it depends a lot on the person what type of material he'd choose and will suit his needs. A brick house is more durable but not cost-effective when a wooden one is cheaper, but can be vulnerable to things such as house fires and termites.
