Current competitive business environment where ‘me too’ products are ready as soon as one launches a unique product in the market and this trend is prevalent from high-end electronic items to low cost plastic items. It seems everywhere copying is high, and people try to use the value of brands by imitating them at very low cost. One can find imitation watches to imitation Armani suits at half the price available in the streets of their cities.

Any business product needs to be saved from such fake products to survive in the market, and using 3D hologram is one of the cheapest and best ways to keep the uniqueness of the product intact. 3D hologram is widely used nowadays to keep imitators away. Any producer or marketer can use this technique of 3D hologram to safeguard his business interest while launching a product in the market. They can use it in innovatively in packaging, so that it will be difficult to copy or at least make a cheap imitation of it.

3D hologram is a sticker, pasted on a package and made with advanced technology; objects and images are visible, differently in a hologram, while looking at it from different angles. It has some imaginary depth or dimension, which is not present in an ordinary hologram. Ordinary hologram can be copied very easily but imitating the exact copy of a 3D hologram is somewhat difficult, if not impossible.

A business needs a well managed strategy to ward off any type of competition coming in its way. It is difficult but many companies have successfully implemented their business strategies successfully and created a demand for their products in the already competitive market. Top notch companies all over the world have used different tactics to ward off competition coming before them, like secret formula of fried chicken; though anyone can fry a chicken but KFC has created a niche for them by innovating their recipe as well as keeping their secrets intact. The same is true for McDonalds and Coca Cola as well.

But this secrecy is not an option for businesses like clothes manufacturing, or any packaging items including throwaway eatables and electronic toys etc. In order to ward off entry level competition of cheap imitation of their product one can take refuge in easy solutions to maintain the uniqueness of their product. 3D hologram is one of the many solutions easily available to any manufacturer today. By using this technology of 3D hologram one can easily ward off entry level competition as imitators do not find 3D hologram copying process as business viable as it will eat their profit and raise their cost.

Producers can also use 3D hologram packets for packaging their products which will also hinder the entrance of copycat me too products in the market for competing their products. All these will lead to enhanced brand value and brand positioning of any product that a producer can leverage for the growth of their brands and getting more value for shareholders and end product user.
