Going into their fourth Grand Slam final with a 22-20 and 21-19 winover 11th seeds Jake Gibb/Sean Rosenthal of the United States inthe semifinals, the Dutch duo finally got a touch with the goldafter sweeping the 14th seeds from Italy 21-11 and 21-16 in 31minutes for their seventh straight victory in Beijing. "We are really happy to win our first Grand Slam title, it's veryimportant for us because it's the Olympic year and we want to beready for London," said Schuil. "It's really the first step andit's good preparation for the Olympic Games, because there were somany good team playing here."
