When a product is high in demand and has a considerable amount of potential to be a success, there are many people who intend to copy the product or service. They do this by creating their own clones of the product, their own versions of the product, after which they start selling them in the local market. This is a technique that is mostly used in many second world and almost all third world countries. This is true in the case of all products that are likely to be cloned or copied. One of the many well-known clones or versions of a product is the Chinese version or the Chinese copy. The Chinese version of the Chinese copy of a certain product is the version of the product that has been prepared in China. Even though the country of China is a successful country with a great economy and everything, they are very well known for the copies of the products that are high in demand that they make and later export. The reason why these copies are made in China is because it is much cheaper for people to set up manufacturing and production units or factories in China thanks to cheap resources and cheap energy, not to mention the large amount of manpower. However, no matter how carefully a copy is made and how keenly it is detailed to look like the genuine one, a copy still remains a copy and can simply not obtain the features of a genuine product. This is why there are always differences between genuine products and cheap China copies of the product. This is true in the case of sports jerseys too. You see, there are two versions of most of the high in demand jerseys. The first version is the genuine version whereas the second one is the cheap China version. So, here are some of the many differences between genuine NHL jerseys and cheap China jerseys. • The fabric- The first and the most obvious difference between genuine jerseys such as jersey from the National Hockey League or the jerseys from the National Football league and cheap jerseys that have been produced in China is that their fabric is completely different. The fabric using which genuine jerseys are made is extremely smooth and has a touch of finesse to it. However, the jerseys that are made in China as copies are made using fabric that is neither smooth, nor has a touch of finesse or any hints of finishing. • The names and numbers- Hockey or football jerseys have one prominent attribute- the name and the number of a player on their back. This is what separates them form copies. Most China copies have the wrong names, the wrong numbers or the wrong combinations of a name and a number. One may easily scout them out using this difference. • The design- In addition to the two differences mentioned above, it has been noticed that Chinese copies of sports gear such as jerseys and T-shirts does not keep up with the latest designs. To further elaborate, the designs of sports gear such as wrestling shirts or hockey/football jerseys changes every now and then. Chinese manufacturers fail to keep up with this change as they manufacture jerseys with the designs that were used in the past, leaving them vulnerable to differentiation.
