The use of trophies and plaques for employee recognition is extremely important to enhance your employee’s performance. An employee that is unhappy will end up costing the company money due to lack of motivation and many employees will leave the company due to losing interest in their job. The company ends up spending unnecessary money on replacing staff members as well as on training. Companies end up losing their customers due to stagnant productivity and low service levels. In order for employees to be content in their working environment and to increase their potential, motivation is a key factor as well as important investment factor for any company. Money is not a motivating factor, but rewards and positive thoughts will give employees incentive to perform and do better. All corporate businesses should have a recognition program that offers staff awards on a monthly basis. As this is a token of acknowledgement of what they have accomplished of which in turn will help them produce a higher level of work. There are several advantages to delegate employee recognition plaques and trophies in a company as it will increase your turnover as employees will strive to achieve a certificate or trophy that has their name engraved on it. Recognition for good work makes employees feel that they are part of the company and also makes them feel important. Plaques and trophies are invaluable and is also a way of saying they are performing well. When an employee has a purpose and knows they are being appreciated for their efforts they will go the extra mile. Once a staff member receives a reward, their co workers will also strive to give their best so that they too can also receive recognition and get an award. Recognition creates competitiveness and gets employees interested in achieving their best. Competitive behaviour increases productivity as employees can create a goal and they also realize that by working hard they will be rewarded. Employees learn from reward programs, as those that do not receive rewards will learn that they have to increase their productivity and that in order to win an award they have to apply themselves and work harder. Trophies and plaques are a priceless strategy and investment for any corporate company and recognitions programs have become a popular way to encourage staff as well as thank staff for a job well done. If any employee has a goal and performs their best as well as adds value to the company, then they should be awarded firstly by saying thank you and then be given a certificate or trophy which will give them further incentive to keep going that extra mile and reinforces appreciated performance.
