Turkey has indeed become one of the leading destinations for investing on property and real estates. Property for sale in Turkey is very well known and all the rich and wealthy people make sure to buy properties and real estates in Turkey. Properties in Turkey are usually bought by foreigners and tourists who become quite pleased with the atmosphere of the country and the Turkish people. The Turkish Consulates and the Embassies in different countries provide the information of the residents of those countries, whether they are eligible to buy a property or any real estate in Turkey. Within the legal restrictions as described by the law of the country, any person residing in a foreign country can buy any house, apartment, lands and business place as his property in Turkey. They can buy the land as property and then the land may undergo construction according to the wish of the owner. But, within 2 years he should submit the project related to the construction to the Ministry of Turkey. Property for sale in Turkey is limited for the foreign citizens. The maximum property which a person of a foreign nationality can buy in Turkey is of 30 hectares in total. Any property which lies within the military areas or the security zones of Turkey are not sold to the foreigners. Even, they are not allowed to rent any property in these areas. In a district or a town of Turkey, where a foreigner buys a property, he can acquire only 10% of the total land of the town or district. Buying a property in Turkey does not allow a foreign nationality to obtain a residence permit of the country. A foreigner should work with an experienced and well known company or agent while buying a property in Turkey and should avoid the in experienced ones. The company or the agent should give the buyer the independence of choosing the property he wishes to own according to his own needs. A person may buy a property which consists of an apartment or villa for the purpose of spending his holidays while the other may acquire a land as property either for construction of an office for his business purpose or for selling it later on according to his own need when the price rises. One can own a property in the sole purpose of a home or as investment property or purely as a holiday home. The purchases of the properties in Turkey are directly made with the builder. A foreigner may need the help of an English speaking solicitor of Turkey who will assist the buyer with the information about the Turkish agents and will describe them about the fee structure of the Turkish agents which are quite costly. The reputed agents assist the buyers to get their ideal Property for sale in Turkey. Apartments as property are quite expensive while the villas cost in millions. Fethiye, a city and a district is famous among the British as they buy various properties there.
