This is the gist of one of the lessons at eaglesonline.org, the Empowerment and Advisory Group for Leadership and Excellence (EAGLES), started by Dr. Samuel Pipim. It is a bible-based network that aims to train students as well as professionals in various institutes and organizations to become the proactive proponents for optimism in a world fraught with negativities. EAGLES online is an umbrella organization for two centers of leadership development namely the EAGLES Center and the ANANSE Center. The Eagles Center was set up to assist every person deal with their lives in this ever changing modern world. The aim is to bring about a positive change in their lives by training them with program that entails empowerment activities so as to bring out the best in an individual. These training programs are achieved through Biblical principles, which form the backbone of all the teachings. Ananse literally translates to “spider” in Ghanaian. Having himself been born and brought up in Africa, Dr. Samuel Pipim understood the special needs of the people of this region of the world. The ANANSE center disburses similar teachings specifically to and for the needs of Africa, concentrating on the precise needs of the people there. The spider is a popular creature in Ghanaian folk stories and ANANSE uses it as an instructive tool to focus on insights of wit, skills and out of the box thinking. The main purpose of Dr Pipim to start EAGLES online was dedicated to using the word of the Bible to bring about a positive change in the lives of people all around the world and it continues to do so.
