The harmony clearly reflects the secularism of the country. As a consequence state celebrates different festivals throughout the year with equal enthusiasm and fervor. The religions in the state are giving it a simply different charm in its food, festivity and frolic. Art and craft of the state is versatile and still kept alive by the people of the state. Chanderi and Maheswari sarees are famous worldwide and many national and international designers take inspiration from it and use the fabric in some way or the other. The artistry and craftsmanship of the state is appreciated across the globe for its bamboo work, carpet weaving, painting, printing and wood carving. Hence giving one more reason for people to love Madhya Pradesh. The cuisine of the state is very rich in terms of taste and flavor. It has slight touch of Rajasthani and Gujarati flavor. Thus, making most of the cuisine hot and spicy. In sweets the locales prefer mawa bati, shreekhand, khoprapak, jalebi and malpua. Here one will find delicacies which would be difficult to find in any other state. So all who love to eat diverse delicacies Madhya Pradesh is the state for them and after tasting there shall be no looking back in showering love for Madhya Pradesh. So, Madhya Pradesh is the state for nature lover, secure home for wild life and a state which has kept the tradition alive. And one can definitely not forget the mythical as well as the real legends associated with the state like Tansen, Beju Baura, Lord Krishna, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Jawed Akhtar and many more.
