Socialisation is very important for puppies so that they can grow into well-adjusted adults. There is a crucial age window in which socialisation will assist puppies and their interaction with children, adults, cars and a wide variety of situations that it will encounter later in life. Without these important lessons, dogs can become aggressive, fearful, reclusive and unfriendly. Puppy Pre-School allows puppies to socialise with other puppies and people. It also helps to get puppies off to a good start so they become controlled, well-behaved adults. These classes aim to help puppies live in a comfortable and loving environment together with their owners and families. Classes are held at the clinic on Sundays and are run by DogTech Dog Training, a company that specialises in behaviour consultations and training. The entire course runs for four weeks, with one class held every Sunday. Please note that Puppy Pre-School is specifically for puppies between the ages of 2 months (8 weeks) and 5 months. DogTech does provide behavioural consultations and training for older dogs.
